As a director, I aim to cultivate a rehearsal room powered by collaborative storytelling, with the idea that crystal-clear text work, grounded and genuine connection, and striking stage pictures are the keys to accessible and entertaining performances.

I'm often found staging stories where:

  • status and ritual impact the world

  • communities work against impossible odds

  • mistakes matter

Directing credits include a staged reading of 'Tis Pity She's a Whore (Mortal Fools Collective), Antigone, Much Ado About Nothing (Clemson University), co-directed productions of Julius Caesar, Love's Labour's Lost, Henry V, and Twelfth Night with Shakespeare & Company's Riotous Youth summer educational program, and select scenes from A King and No King (Shakespeare & Performance)

Assistant directing credits include Bright Star (Clemson University) and an outdoor promenading production of Romeo and Juliet (South Carolina Governor's School for the Arts and Humanities).
